This March, why not celebrate Mother’s Day with Blend Kitchen @ The Printhouse. Centrally located, just behind Sheffield cathedral (off Campo Lane), we're serving a delicious*3 course Sunday lunch celebrating the flavours of early spring. The menu proves great value for money at just £16 for adults and £8 for children for 3 courses.*Along with great food, all mums will get a complementary cocktail up on arrival, while we've also got bring your own booze for this event. Blend Kitchen's mothers day lunch is the perfect way to relax, enjoy a great meal, in a relaxed atmosphere this March.

We do require a pre-order for anyone booking into the event, so check out the menu below and let us know what you want. For children, we will be serving a smaller portions of the options on the menu below.

 

To begin;

Smoked mackerel*– fillet of smoked mackerel, potato and beetroot salad with a horseradish crème fraiche

 

Spring vegetable broth – a light vegetable broth with peas, broad beans, spinach and macaroni, with a lemon and basil pistou

 

Chicken, ham and leek terrine – layers of poached chicken and ham set in a tarragon cream and wrapped in blanched leek.

 

To follow;*

Pork - Roast loin of pork, thyme and fennel seed stuffing, apple sauce, crackling and roasting juices

 

Seabass – baked fillets of sea bass, ratatouille and basil oil

 

Mushroom, leek and sage derby pithivier – a puff pastry parcel filled with mushrooms, leeks and sage derby cheese served with a tarragon cream sauce

 

All served with a selection of seasonal vegetables and potatoes

 

To end;

Lemon posset – A light lemon mousse, served with raspberries and shortbread

 

Pear Tarte Tatin – Pears in an anise caramel, on a puff pastry base served with crème chantilly

 

Cheese (£2 supplement) – A selection of Yorkshire cheeses, homemade chutney and biscuits
