kinjuro   10 #1 Posted September 13, 2018 have you seen the article on google news where a man was refused service at the lane top kfc because he was in a mobility scooter, when interviewed kfc said it was agains their policy to serve such vehicles at a drive through, perhaps it would be a good thing if we all stop trading with this uncaring petty company
 Share this content via...

So people that use them can walk.  Mobility scooters are not allowed on trains, because they are too large.
 Share this content via...
Waldo   96 #8 Posted September 13, 2018 He said that KFC said there was an insurance issue, but that he was fully insured on his scooter. I'm thinking he probably misinterpreted, and KFC were talking about public liability insurance?  I can see KFC's point of view, if they let anyone use a drive through, and there is problem (accident), they could be sued. Why should they be expected to take that risk?
 Share this content via...
tinfoilhat   11 #9 Posted September 13, 2018 Would I get served on a skateboard? Probably not. I'd be asked to go through the doors.
 Share this content via...
