As the Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Ms Dick has already reached the top of her chosen career path.

Someone tell her she no longer has to tick any of the political correctness boxes anymore to get on.

Loads of people who don’t live in Manchester support man united football team. What’s the problem if she supports Pakistan instead of England?

Should we lock her up for treason? :hihi:

I see a fair number of males in Sheffield wearing Barca shirts and I suspect that they're not all Spaniards.

An English person supporting Pakistan at cricket is almost as unusual as a Scot supporting England at football, maybe she felt that she had to appear unpatriotic or unbiased, seems to be the way with some.

That reminds me of an embarrassing incident in a bar in Bilbao ten years ago.

It was the week after Wimbledon and a colleague of mine said to the guys in the bar "You must be dead chuffed that Nadal won the tennis last week". To describe the reception as frosty would be an understatement! :D
