I once was in a charity shop in Hillsborough when he brought some clothes in. He was so nice, laughing and joking with everyone. So sad to hear this latest news.

Absolute gent, had a bad time for a while now, such a shame.

Hes a lovely man. When we were kids we'd always carol sing and go trick or treating to his house, because not only was he rather generous, he'd always answer the door himself and take time to have a chat and a laugh and a joke with us.

I used to work across the road from St Anns. It was a lovely little enclave in the middle of N15.

Just heard his long time partner Karen has just passed away, if this is true I hope the people around him are ready to rally round him
