Ale house (the old Sheaf pub) on Fraser Road

Really like it!

Pretty basic inside but coming along and the lounge bar looks great.

Landlord and manager are really nice chaps who know their stuff and listen to their punters.

Entertainment seems to be working well.

And, most importantly, ales are very well kept!

tried it and its not too bad, its a bit like being sat in my great grandmas frontroom, not much happenining but then i suppose some people like that,

not the same as when i went in a while ago when it was the sheaf but i didnt really like it then too many clicks going on,

years ago it was a fun friendly pub

anyway heard there doing food soon so may go back in to try

Not really my cup of tea prefer something a bit more lively but real ale fans will probably like it.

Good luck to them,I can't see it being easy making money there.

The bands seem to be going down well. We were in on a Thursday night and it was quite lively. The quizzes do well too!

The beers are excellent btw and the staff are all very friendly and keen to help!

Quiz nights are usually busy and I went to one of the band nights and the place was packed with a lot of people standing. I think it's a lovely pub with a great atmosphere.

I`m hoping to get down there tonight for a bit. Hoping they`ve got some Saltaire beers or something equally tasty!

Will try to get in tonight, maybe around 6ish. There is a good range of beers most of which i have tried, i hope it does well

Very busy last night and some cracking ales. Saltaire`s Hazelnut Coffee porter was my pick!
