Sport Bar (Sheffield)

Why hasn't Sheffield got a decent dedicated sports bar in the city centre?

Leeds has the 'Sports Bar', other pleaces have Sports Cafes etc?

I think Sheffield is missing a trick here. Anyone with oodles of cash out there...get it sorted.

I know this could have been posted in either the 'going out' or 'sport' section, but it wouldn't get the same coverage.

It's just a pub with lots of tv's in it, i mean a proper sports theme place...like Champs but on a larger scale righ in the centre.

I'd make a very good profit i think and its a shame it doesn't exist.

There's no such thing as a decent sports bar. If Sheffield had one, it would be as rubbish as every other sports bar in the country.

I'm sure Champs have applied for planning permmision to open another bar/resatuarant up at West one, that maybe bigger.

I know what you mean the one in leed is big and has basket ball courts.

A massive Champs in the centre of Sheffield would be a very good addition.

I remember hearing that the Old Monk was gonna become a sports bar (I know the chain has one in L**ds. Springbok or summat?) but this was several years ago so it doesn't look likely now.

Don't you think that sports bars are a bit passé in 2006?

Champs is a bit of a dump these days, mainly because it's a sports bar IMO. I can't imagine why anyone over the age of 18 ½ would want to spend any time in there.
