AnneFG Â Â 10 #1 Posted October 12, 2011 The Three Cranes Hotel is open again! I called in last night on my way home, didn't think it was opening til the weekend. rickiethecat   10 #2 Posted October 12, 2011 Good news but judging by the photo they don't look ready yet. Is there really only one handpump on the bar?
 Share this content via...
AnneFG Â Â 10 #3 Posted October 12, 2011 Haha, no - that's just the side I was sitting at, there are several more round the other side. Although no idea why there's a whole stretch of bar with just one pump!
 Share this content via...

Andy C Â Â 83 #5 Posted October 12, 2011 Should be a reasonable pit stop on the walk from town to Kelham Island!
 Share this content via...
muddycoffee   10 #6 Posted October 12, 2011 Should be a reasonable pit stop on the walk from town to Kelham Island!   I think that will get a bit of a bashing on some work nights out in the next few months by myself and workmates. Usually we go Harlequin - riverside - kelham - shakespere -three tons - then anything goes.
 Share this content via...
Ghostrider   11 #7 Posted October 12, 2011 Good news but judging by the photo they don't look ready yet. Is there really only one handpump on the bar?  They have been working on it for MONTHS !!!
 Share this content via...
Mr Bates   10 #8 Posted October 18, 2011 Popped in yesterday. it is very similar to how it was before iirc, very traditional which I like a lot. They had two Blue Bee beers, Moonshine and Stones handpump.
 Share this content via...
Meaks   11 #9 Posted October 18, 2011 I called in on Friday night - it was very busy as you'd expect for an opening night.  Seemed to be the same as it always was inside.  They had a selection of session beers of which Moonshine was the strongest. Would have preferred at least one option a bit darker / stronger. Can't remember how much it was but nothing unusual for town.  The lass behind the bar appeared to be hammered.  Will probably continue calling in now and again.
