Did he leave after yesterday’s game then or have Owls sacked someone on Xmas Eve again?

"The Portuguese left the Owls following the 2-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough on Saturday. Speaking exclusively to swfc.co.uk, Carvalhal said: “The chairman and myself talked after the game and we believed this was the correct timing to make this decision." from the link that Mel posted.

Don,t like to see anyone lose their job, but this comes as no surprise. Was not in favour of his appointment although he got my support until the end. I only hope our chairman now gets sound advice and appoints a manager who know what SWFC is all about and how to get out of this division, preferbly a homer. Thanks for the journey Carlos.

Any manager who believes that Nuhiu is the answer, has truly lost the plot.

I’m sad to see Carlos go. I thought he was a likeable man, with a fascinating view of the game. We did need a change though. My fingers are crossed for a Pulis/Megson partnership.
