Is this considered a fast course?

It is quick, yes. Bit of a hill at end but is `Sheffield flat`at least.

Fair point, Sheffield is not flat. Many thanks for your help.

I have done it for last 3 years and would like to do again...I like the local flavour of it...

The race is already sold out! All 2000 places went in under 48 hours. I tried to sign up this morning and they had already gone.

If any of the lucky (or at least better organised than me) entrants can't do this for any reason and are willing to transfer their place, please let me know.

thanks

I do find it bemusing that this race sells out so quick. It`s nowt special IMHO and does so well because it has a reputation for being a quick seller (so lots of folk `panic enter`) and it shows that our area doesn`t have that many good races.

I agree with the last bit of that, but I do also think that the Percy Pud is a great race. It's local, run by the local running club, relatively flat and on a reasonably nice course, I.e.not like the great Yorkshire run. The other local one is the ten-ten-ten, but the paths are a little narrow and so things get very congested , so the Percy pud is still my favorite.
