Rate The Last Film You've Seen With Marks Out Of Ten - Part Two

Recommended Posts

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

There's a reason Frances McDormand has got a Bafta nomination.

And there are two reasons why Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson have.

Go and see it.

The Heroes Of Telemark - 6.5/10 - Adaptation of the story of how a Norwegian resistance group foiled the Nazis attempts to make an atomic bomb, a great story that the film doesn't do full justice, an enjoyable couple of hours though.

Actually it was about destroying heavy water plants used in building reactors, but yes an enjoyable film.

This is your Death 5/10

Its a shame because it was a really good concept/plot, it just felt like a cheap made-for-TV movie (which to be fair it probably was). It did improve towards the end tho.

Was almost a poor mans Black Mirror.

Three Billboards 8/10

Great film, sad, funny and compelling. Brilliant acting performances all round, but especially from Frances McDormand.

I do have a small complaint, but wont post it as its kind of a spoiler.

The Possession 7.5/10

Good film, a bit different to the usual possession/exorcism films.

Good special effects and a great performance by Jeffery Dean Morgan.

Possession (1981) 9/10

Possibly the most bizarre, intense and disturbing film Ive ever seen.

You never 100% know whats going on, but I think thats the whole point.

Fantastic, compelling acting from the 2 main characters, I just couldnt take my eyes of it (even during the scene that helped it be classed back in the day as a 'video nasty').

Star Wars The Last Jedi - 8/10

Finally went to see this, thought it was really good. A couple of 'dodgy' bits that made me think what! Generally a good addition to the series.

Day of the dead: Bloodline (2018 )

well.............saw it.................and.............

:(

as usual they have completely turned the great original to crap, the gore effects were good, everything else...... :(

the darkness has gone

the comedy has gone

all that remains.....cheesyness, crappy "modern horror" cheesyness

4/10 and thats just due to the effects and how well made it is overall

Alien Covenant. - 7/10

I did enjoy this, I know it had quite a few bad reviews but I liked it. Michael Fassbender is excellent. A good follow up to Prometheus.
