DnAuK Â Â 10 #14 Posted May 24, 2017 I'll be starting at Dronfield Arms. And looking at the beer list, not making it much further... Â I know. That's the danger. Hence wanting to start elsewhere. I was thinking of the three Andy listed, then a bus round to the 3 Tuns, and a walk back via the Dronny Arms to the station to pick up a bus to the Miners. But I'm prepared to sacrifice that journey if a) buses are mentally busy, and b) I get trapped in the Dronny. May just go up and finish at the Coach instead. SpiderPete   10 #15 Posted May 25, 2017 Dronfield Arms does sound the best pub to be in and will be the busiest, I was thinking starting at Coach & Horses as I can get a bus from home to nearly there and walk down into Dronfield visiting pubs along the way. DnAuK Â Â 10 #16 Posted May 25, 2017 Dronfield Arms does sound the best pub to be in and will be the busiest, I was thinking starting at Coach & Horses as I can get a bus from home to nearly there and walk down into Dronfield visiting pubs along the way. Â That sounds like a plan. Must admit we were thinking of finishing at the Coach and Horses as, if the bus back to the station isn't running, the wander down the hill isn't too bad. No doubt we will cross paths en-route somewhere.
 Share this content via...

Andy C Â Â 86 #19 Posted January 10, 2018 The 2018 festival is confirmed as taking place Saturday 2nd June. Â A lot of the details of venues are still not quite confirmed and the bus plan isn't fully worked out yet, keep an eye on the Facebook event for announcements, however the main news is the route out to Hundall is being extended via Marsh Lane/Middle Handley and Halfway tram terminus to Fuggle Bunny Brewhouse. Interesting dilemma for those coming from Hillsborough - would it be quicker to get the tram all the way to Halfway and thence the Miner's on bus, or the traditional tram then train to Dronx? Interesting dilemma for those coming from Hillsborough - would it be quicker to get the tram all the way to Halfway and thence the Miner's on bus, or the traditional tram then train to Dronx? Â Well, if its the Miners you want to get to then Dronfield Station would probably be the quicker option, however if you get the tram to Halfway terminus then you could walk down to Fuggle Bunny Brewhouse from there to start your day!
