Growing old in Sheffield

Do any of the older members of the Forum think Sheffield is a good place to grow old in?

They have to move to Eastbourne it's the law, all old people go there.

Quite possibly, it's been a little while since I was there last, the age demographic may well be changing.

It would make things easier if they flattened the hills!!

A better idea would be to designate the gap between them as landfill

Kerrangaroo,I always thought that Sheffield would make a brilliant reservour,locking all the town councillers in the town hall when they flood it!!!!

why would anyone want to be in a crap hole like sheffield when retire? surely it has to be somewhere nice and not street full of chavs , uneducated, unemployed and pound lands

not at all i have been in hospital at the same time as older people on the same ward and seen how they are treated ignored its disgusting
