RIP Keith Chegwin

Brown Sauce brown bread.

Ah well. The luscious Maggie is still hale and hearty even if Noel has lost it.

He was a cheerful entertainer but understood he had alcohol problems and a lung condition in later life.

R.I.P.

I didn't know he had health problems, sad for his family.

Pulmonary Fibrosis is, unfortunately, a ‘killer’

It’s a terrible death and when you’ve got it it’s only downhill.

Very sad for him and for his family.

RIP

I'd forgotten how catchy that was, RIP Cheggers.

Sad news. Genuinely nice guy (or at least that's how he came across). Had quite a few dialogue exchanges with him online, including some private messaging on Twitter (Cheggers followed me on Twitter - I think we bonded over a love of terrible puns).

Was quite an important figure in my childhood - from Swap Shop to Cheggers Plays Pop.

60 is such a young age to go.

Cheggars on life is short

:hihi:

A superb series, but had not seen this one. I found a liking for a lot of actors watching that (and Extras). A different type of comedy, and showed a great angle of their acting and comedy talents.

Some really lovely genuine comments made about him today by various co-workers and friends on TV. It is clear he was actually a very talented, clever, but more importantly, genuine and caring person. RIP Cheggers.
