The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Recommended Posts

Apart from the one I mentioned I'd NOW, from the leave side, and very significant

A cynic might think this spin has been lined up to be used if Remain gains the upper hand in Parliament. Appeal to the people and say the remainers are trying to take away the extra NHS money from you....very useful in a snap election or second referendum.

The problem is that no one, including some of May's own Tory MPs believe for a second that this is anything other than a shameful sham.

Frankly, it isn’t funny, it is pathetic and hypocritical and tedious and incredibly naive, but not funny. If Corbyn told him ‘good news! We are now going to change the way you get paid! For every pound you earned you will now get a whopping 95 penies!’ He would cheer it on.

Basic maths people, basic fact checking. If even that is too much then good luck to you :(

It is funny, Tim. In a “gallows humour best of” sort of way, regularly taken to new heights by British political play since June 2016 ;)

At least, it’s ‘just’ the neocons taking the Leave movement for mugs and shorting the U.K. to the cleaners. Could be worse: could be the neo<something else>...though they’ll likely find fertile ground in the dystopian post-Brexited U.K.

Yes.

Somebody is going to get rich from recreating all those functions.

Just imagine all those contracts that will be up for grabs.

Quelle surprise!

At the end of the day our money and expertise helped develop that system.

And we’re just throwing it away.

What a mess.

funny how eu members "According to the National Crime Agency, other EU members requested the arrest of 14,279 UK-based suspects in 2015-6, up from 1,865 in 2004. The UK made 241 such requests in 2015-6, leading to 150 arrests." just shows how many eu criminals reside in the uk hopefully when we out we send the criminals back too

Typical Brexiter logic there.

If we don’t know who the criminals are we can’t send them back.

Unless of course you’re arguing that we deport all EU citizens but then you’d have to be in full fruitcake mode.

We’re screwed since we can’t police within our borders.

now dont get me wrong here mel but from what i quoted it seems the eu were after thousands of suspects based here (from other eu countries) yet the uk only asked for a cpl of hundred (uk criminlas based in the eu ) now that to me says there are more foreign criminals operating in the uk than there are uk criminals operating in the eu let me know if im wrong :hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi:
