chalga   10 #205 Posted January 12, 2018 Blades finally get promoted from League 1. First season in the Championship, written off by many, expected to be in a relegation battle.  Wednesday, play offs two years in row, and expect another promotion push.  Wednesday sit in the bottom half, take a point at 6th placed United and see it as a big success.  Well said that man,you tell 'em how it is. You may be right this time.
 Share this content via...

Hotmale 1954 Â Â 201 #209 Posted January 12, 2018 (edited) Wednesday reserves had great success at Bramall Lane tonight, pulling off a very creditable 0-0 draw. Sheffield Wednesday's first team was injured. Â It's not hard to grasp is it? It was a wonderful result for Wednesday. Brave men, noble men, family men, fought like Lions and were not far off actually winning the game. Yes, as games go, as performances go, as expectations go, it was a great success. Â Or in other words, 'Mighty United' failed. Is 'failure' the opposite of 'success'? Over to the clever people. chalga   10 #210 Posted January 12, 2018 Almost forgot this, well done to Simon Moore for that fantastic last minute save, another great Wilder signing and fully justified his position in the team with that save.
 Share this content via...

Your 'reserves' including a 10 million striker, and mostly established Championship players.  Ours are still pub league players. The cost of a team means zilch current form and confidence is the key up to this game we had none of either.  At least we got to see the Leon Clarke of old tonight. The first part of the season hasn't been easy, our players have turned up though and done themselves justice more often than not, that's why we are where we are,and you are where you are. Â Unfortunately you don't win owt for half a season, this is our first terrible one on four, the play off teams of last are not doing too well either, think yourself lucky you didn't get out of the pub league in CC's first season.
