Asia   10 #133 Posted July 1, 2017 Hi  We have bought a new property and it requires some works.  Wonder if anyone can recommend someone??  Below is most of the works:  1) kitchen extension + New kitchen.  2) install new gas fires x 2.  3) New bathroom.  4) radiators re positioned and moved.  5) Roof needs checking and potential roof spread. Also check chimney stacks, lining and felt.  6) Ventilation beneath timber floor on ground floor inadequate.  7) Damp in Cellar  Has anyone used any building company?  Anyone have any advice on best way to go about works, 1 building company or number of separate builders ie. Roofers, plumbers etc?  Thank you in advance.
 Share this content via...
Kate9 Â Â 10 #134 Posted July 3, 2017 I'd like to strongly recommend Jeff the Joiner (Joinery Solutions) for any joinery work you need doing or general refurbs. He recently replaced half of our living room floor which had woodworm in the floor joists. He was a great source of advice on how to fix the problem, very reliable and did a great job. He was friendly and polite and excellent at keeping in touch. I will definitely be using him again!
 Share this content via...
biotechpete   10 #135 Posted July 3, 2017 (edited) If its the same Jeff the joiner from here, he needs no extra advertising in my experience. He's oft recommend by users.  Pretty sure it's jsmith2009 on here, so anyone can see for themselves.
