SiSiSi   10 #28 Posted August 23, 2017 13 million pounds salary for a 31 year old that many fit blokes in their mid 40's could probably outrun in a long distance run. I'm 52 and can do around 13 minutes for 3kms at a push! To put his salary in perspective - most clubs in the SPL do not have that amount for their entire budget.  Your average Joe in the UK is on say 15-20K a year.  Rooney earns around 35 000 pounds a day - or twice as much as your average person does in a year.  It's a very sick society.  He earns that salary because Average Joe is prepared to spend part of his salary on watching him perform. The same can be said for actors & musicians.
 Share this content via...

What does this have to do with him growing up on a council estate?
 Share this content via...

steved32 Â Â 55 #36 Posted November 8, 2018 What utter nonsense. Â What about naming Beckham on the bench. Or will he be busy as the fifth Spice Girl in their come back tour? Â England ... laughing stock. Â And don't get me started on the "Charidee" justification for looney's recall.
 Share this content via...
