horribleblob   202 #14 Posted February 3, 2017 Yet another Gym? how many are gonna pop up? surely there's not enough people attending them for them all to stay in business.... :S  Hotels I've stayed in have had gyms attached. Mainly for hotel guests, but, to help with the running costs, they also allow non-residents to use them. Just like a hotel bar really. S1 1DJ   11 #17 Posted February 3, 2017 I want C&A back  Grab yourself a flight to mainland Europe. You won't be short of stores on a good few destinations. Although, you won't get chariots of fire when gliiding on the escalators!
 Share this content via...

ECCOnoob   980 #20 Posted February 4, 2017 (edited) Do they charge by the hour?  They'll do good business down that side of town  Really???  Have you actually been down "that side of town" as you call it. You are talking nonsense.  The whole area is changing with a mix of new student accommodation, offices and other businesses. Its already surrounded by several established hotels and is minutes away from the uni, rail stations and office buildings. Its likely to do very well  Some people always have to have a pop no matter what is proposed or what is built. No wonder this city is so behind.  Sometimes I really wish they would bring the hole in the road and all those hideous underground Walkways back circa 1989 just to remind some of those with the rose tinted specs exactly what a crap hole this city really was before the developers started their work Edited February 4, 2017 by ECCOnoob
 Share this content via...

Margarita Ma   10 #24 Posted February 4, 2017 This was mentioned in the Primark closing down thread a while back!  Ooooo was it I missed that one.  ---------- Post added 04-02-2017 at 19:15 ----------  Hole in the road was ok as was the market. >snipped> Most things are OK if they are kept clean and people are socialised to keep them so by not urinating and dropping litter in them.  ---------- Post added 04-02-2017 at 19:19 ----------  I want C&A back  Hehe, I can remember that too. Do you remember that they would not do exchanges or refunds on Saturdays. How mad was that when most of the population worked in factories and only had Saturdays to do anything.
