Response policing for South Sheffield no longer from Moss Way!!

Recommended Posts

But crime is falling according to government figures so why do we need so many police stations and police cars?

Yes according to the figures crime is dropping. But only because people now realize that there is no point reporting any crime because it's a waste of time as nothing gets done about it.

Which figures?

Crime is now increasing, following a prolonged decrease.

My apologies, I thought you may have picked up on the fact I was being ironic.

No bike thefts in the whole of Sheffield for a whole year, wow the police must be doing a great job out there.

A great job at making it very difficult to report a crime.

That website for those crime figures is a load of rubbish! A quick search on a official crime statistics site shows there were 23 bike thefts in the city centre just in July this year!
