I was at the school after it moved to Gleadless. Think Mr Woolhouse's first name was Don - can't remember which subject he taught.

I went to Central Tech just before and just after the move to Gleadless. Old Herbert was Head then. I used to be in awe of John Henry Hunter who had eyes in the back of his head and nobody talked when he left the room!

gerry I think that i may have been in your class at central tech holy joe housby was scripture and smeltser was geography teacher.

Gerry, 6y is correct. a few classmates names come to mind. vic harrison,stewart oakes,brian johnson,ray hawley,alan lambert,bill ollerenshaw,george hogg,mick bannister,jack hudson,john hartle.it really was a long time ago.

There is no doubt about it, we were classmates. If you check your PM, I had tried to send you a message last night in which I mentioned at least six of the names on your list. Question. Is your name on the list? Mine is.
