All fishy. Why not instal anti ram bollards after first unless you didn't mind it happening again

You'd have the thought the insurance company would have stipulated ram bollards after last time.

SHEFFIELD MAN LINKED TO SEVERAL CAR THEFTS AND SHOP BURGLARIES FINALLY CAUGHT

 

Sheffield man has been charged in connection to two ram raids and eight burglaries in which 11 cars were stolen.

 

Gavin Bennett, 36, of Cowper Crescent, Foxhill, is charged with ten counts of burglary in connection to the following incidents:

 

* On Thursday 3 August, a house in Black Horse Close, Silkstone Common, Barnsley, was broken into. Two cars, jewellery and a number of electrical items were taken.

 

* Sometime on Thursday 10 August and into the following morning, a house in Taptonville Court, Sheffield was broken into and a car taken.

 

*On the evening of Friday 11 August into the early hours of Saturday morning, a house in Belgrave Road, Sheffield was broken into and two cars stolen.

 

* On Monday 14 August, a house in Elm Gardens, Sheffield was broken into and two cars taken as well as a number of electrical items.

 

* On the evening of Tuesday 22 August and into the following morning, a house in Cinderhill Lane, Sheffield was broken into and a car stolen in addition to items of clothing.

 

* On Wednesday 30 August, a shop in Division Street was broken into with a quantity of high-end clothing and other items taken.

 

* On Saturday 30 September, a car was taken after a house in Beacon Road, Wincobank was broken into.

 

* On Sunday 1 September, a house in Thorncliffe Way, Tankersley, was broken into. A car and a handbag were stolen.

 

*On Wednesday 4 October, a house in Dalby Croft, Penistone was broken into and a car subsequently stolen.

 

*Later that morning, on Wednesday 4 October, the same high end clothing store on Division Street was broken into and a large amount of goods stolen.

 

Bennett has been remanded into custody to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on Friday 3 November.

Gavin Bennett has quite a history if you look him up, you would think he would have a police car stationed outside his house by now.

That's ridiculous. If they want concrete barriers they should be behind the glass!
