Good beer near Bramall Lane

Hey, I'm S6, plenty of great places for good beer, my 2 fave places are The Horse and Jockey, Stancil brewery and ThRose and Crown, do great grub and a lovely pint of Bradfield Farmers Blonde...

S6 have quite a few pubs:

 

New Barrack Tavern

Hillsborough Tap

Shakey

Castle Inn

Horse and Jockey

Hillsborough Hotel

Queens Ground

Champs

New Bridge Inn

Wadsley Jack

Rose and Crown

The Heeley triangle of the Sheaf View, Brothers and White Lion must have 20 different real ales on between them.Match day utopia whatever the result.

Added to those three.. the Broadfield.. id say all 4 have 10 or more each

 

..btw.Isn't the Old Crown classed as a camra real ale venue these days??

Aye the Broadfield serves good beer and the food is spot on as well.

Forgot to mention the Tramshed ,just up from the Lion.Loads of choice in there.

The Railway on Bramall Lane, can't get much closer toSUFC if you tried.

It has a few real ales, decent ciders nice little pub.

You have a point, but Bramall Lane is quite central to Sheffield (15 mins walk from the Peace Gardens if done 'briskly') whereas Hillsbrough is...not. Curious to know why the Albion and Cremorne aren't on the list. Not that I rate either, but they do actually sell beer. Of sorts. And some think it's 'good'. Apparently.
