The Consequences of Brexit [part 5] Read 1st post before posting

That's the problem mel, some people think we are entitled to something better just because we're British.

They used to tell us we were the 5th richest country in the world, but when that wealth isn't managed in the interests of the population, being 5th means nothing.

Particularly when you've got the likes of Farage and Rees Mogg behind Brexit.

Correct. I've just read about actor, tax dodger, miami resident and self confessed brexiteer Michael caine banging on how he'd rather be a poor master than a rich servant. He's going to be rich either way.

Tosser.

You are aware that the EU and the Irish PM have stated that under no circumstances there is to be a hard border between NI and Ireland?

The DUP don't want a border. The Conservatives don't want a border.

There isn't going to be a hard border.

All the arguing is about how you can get goods and people across the border without a physical checkpoint. So far all the UK ideas have been rejected, and the only one the EU wants is for a border down the Irish Sea which has been rejected. It's a tedious stalemate.

It’s not though because such deals are rare

I know, I never stated it was a common occurrence

The truth is it would be unfair to over 17 million leave voters to deny them their wish to leave the EU because of the Good Friday Agreement

But somehow not unfair to the 29 million voters who DID NOT vote to leave the EU?

Have you been smoking skunk again?

Hard cheese to the leave voters if it's cancelled because it can't be made to work.
