DIVA Â Â 10 #13 Posted January 21, 2009 I think its a bit stupid that a chemist can't open 24hours on a Sunday. People can't help it if they need medicine. Â Here, here. It's absolutely pathetic, if that's the case. The Sunday Trading law is an anachronism and serves no one. It's an ideal time with the excuse of the poor economy, to get it brought up to date. Rob Shields   10 #14 Posted January 21, 2009 If you look in the sheffield star that will tell you where and when chemists are open, they have a roster. It is normally on the inside front cover.
 Share this content via...

beansforyou   10 #20 Posted January 22, 2009 Surely it would make sense for there to be a 24hr Pharmacy inside one of the large hospitals?
 Share this content via...
Captain_Scarlet   10 #21 Posted January 22, 2009 There should be a chemists/pharmacy open 24/7 for prescriptions only. You need to call them in advance. If not go to your local supermarket for aspirin or paracetamol. Lloyds on London Rd are open more or less all the time. The Chemists next to Sharps veggie shops on Abbeydale Rd are one of those who take turns to be open 24/7 but ONLY for prescription, not repeat, just collection. Dizzyblonde   10 #22 Posted January 22, 2009 This is where you find out the opening hours http://www.nhs.uk/servicedirectories/pages/trust.aspx?id=5n4&v=4 The walk in centre is in the Hallamshire, but NHS direct can tell you which is the rota one. Its not long until the new GP centre on broad lane opens.
 Share this content via...
