Pavements are lethal I've had to walk on the right hand side of the roads mostly. Still get the odd idiot drivers who don't slow down and give a bit of room sadly.

 

Grass verges are coming into their own now - knew there was a use for them somewhere apart from dog toilets and car parking!

Well my sons driving test has been cancelled. Im slightly surprised, our road is terrible when it snows but even thats ok now.

It is what I like about Sheffield. It thinks it is big yet a little snow puts it right down.

I prefer this sweetness over big functional north American Canadian cities that can handle "real" snowstorms.

 

When it snows in America, they also have transport problems, schools closed, roads closed, power failures, public transport cancelled. Its just nonsense to claim they aren't affected.
