Dam House - Weston Park. Your experiences.

Personally, I found it overpriced for very adequate food. And a little pretentious for my tastes, but that is a very personal thing.

It's a bit 1970's though.

I have eaten there several times. They do a 3 courses for £15 during the week and it is excellent. Sunday lunch is very nice too.

There is anew manager and new chef and they are just redoing the menus. Apparantly the owners wern't too happy with the standards so they have got new staff in. So watch this space

I've only eaten there once and it was quite nice. Not the best place I've been but would go again.

I went there about two months ago with my girlfriend on a Saturday night. I thought the decor and location was great, as was the atmosphere. The food was nice but the portions were a little small. It tends more towards well-presented nouvelle cuisine than hearty filling food and it was a little expensive, but overall we were fairly pleased.

:)
