  4. I might be able to provide some assistance with regards to the Spam Monster. I have a fair bit of experience in special effects of the physical variety (inc. make up effects) so maybe a costume/puppet would be of some use? or were you thinking more along the lines of digital effects? I also did a short film project at university with a post-apocalyptic theme that the majority of the set was urban with digital effects addedto the clean plates the video is on my website. I may also be able to provide some set building services providing you budget for materials will allow such a thing Ive been really eager to get a wriggle on with my special effects portfolio and a live project would be great to keep me motivated! Im free most weekends to meet up to dicuss visions etc. Let me know if i can be of some use.
  5. Hi Liam, Would you be in need of any props for the film? I graduated from Bolton University last July in Special Effects Development with a First Class (Hons) so some local projects would not only set me up nicely with some experience, but also keep my hands and creativity busy whilst keeping the tax man happy in a mundane office job! The course itself enabled me to develop my skills in prop making as well as prosthetic make up. If you would like to see some of my work then my website/portfolio is online at http://jackmyers.co.uk Also... just as a way of making things a bit easier for you to distribute drafts of the script. Would it be better to have a shared document on "Google Docs/Drive" with security permisions set to read only for anybody who views the file. That way whenever you have to make a change, the file is instantly updated to everyone involved. Im sure it would save you a hell of a lot of time redistibuting the file. Jacko
  6. This sounds like a shameless plug to entice the curious masses to go and watch the film... People told me to never... NEVER... EVER watch "A Serbian Film" and what the the film I watched next following that sage advice??? Let's just say it wasn't Toy Story 3!!!
  7. Well i guess i dont need to see that film now then!
  8. Hi, I would definitely be interested in getting involved with this project! If you would like to see some of my work then my website/portfolio is online at http://jackmyers.co.uk You can either contact me using my website or PM me on here. I would love to hear from you about it. Jacko
  9. Hi everyone. I have been collecting Movie Poster for a couple of years now and I'm running out of room for all the tubes in the house! I'm looking for poster frames because there is no way in hell i'm sticking pins in Marty McFly and the Doc, and i don't want to offend the mafia by doing the same to the godfather! I've seen suitably sized frames in Argos for £20 (with free poster....why???) but i was wondering if anyone out there knew of anywhere that sells them cheaper...i'm contemplating making my own frames if not. Cheers in advance
  10. You're absolutely correct, and if anything is missing it is the hash key not the dash key.......oh look! here it is-------> # ---Typed on my MacBook---
  11. Ive heard about a group of people targeting the older generation informing them they they are from a anti-virus company and theyve just detected a virus on the home owners computer, they then go on to say that the virus is deleting their hard drive and that they can fix it for a small fee of £35 by card over the phone. I urge everyone who's grandparents have a computer and spend more time on the phone to you asking you how to do something than on the actual computer to warn them about this scam.
  12. to the best of my knowledge, unlocking your phone after jailbroken can be quite tricky, i wanted to unlock mine after i jailbroke it but due to the firmware of my "modem" on the phone it would stop all sim cards working including the one i got on the contract. So if i asked O2 to unlock my phone they would do it for free or charge a small fee? that sounds a lot better than paying 45 sheets a month to them!!
  13. Seven Pounds....i was uncontrollable for 40 minutes after the film!
