I'll try again as my original thread was merged with a thread that was nothing to do with it. The bin area of my Maisonette block on White Thorns View, Batemoor was in the process of being taped off by the police this morning, but i didn't have time to find out why. Anyone got any ideas what has happened?

The first reply wasn't being unhelpful, it is what they should do with the 'ticket' = Throw it away and do not contact the number on the 'ticket' as they are not legal enforcable fines

People should be responsible for looking after their own belongings and not expect others to be responsible. The Blame & Claim culture is wrong IMO.

I work at a food factory and we test water like this every month for Micro. It' s pretty much standard practice and YW covering there back for if anything has been or could have been introduced into the supply.

I was told on Friday that planning permission had been granted for Ikea near the Parkway. But, I've been trying to find the actual facts, but I have been unable to so far. I really really hope it's true this time.

I live on Batemoor and have for nearly 4 years. Find it a reasonable area, now't bad to talk of.

Dronfield swimming pool is good on a Sunday. All day (pretty much) family swimming.

I expected that vandals had set the bus on fire from the title of the thread. Glad it wasn't and was a mechanical issue by the sounds of it and everyone is ok who was on the bus.

Unbelievably all my tiles (that were there as 3 are missing) have survived intact. Might have to give Kier a ring to get the missing ones replaced like they didn't the last three times i rang them!

Well I don't think my Maisonette or any other on my block will go without losing a few tiles off the side tonight. Glad i've got double glazing which I didn't last year, but it's still keeping me awake.
