I have just started to restore a wooden rail (dado I think) which is near my ceiling but the lovely design is covered in years of paint. I have been using Nitromors which seems to take the top few layers off to reveal a cream/green layer of paint that comes off like sludge and is really hard to shift. Having spent 2 days doing a very small section and with the rest of the hall looming any advice would be welcome! Thanks
