After the success of the halloween quiz, we decided that we needed another spectacular, with even more games, a Christmas buffet and an appearance by santa himself. 50p to enter and plenty of festive offers. get down early to grab yourself a chair! x

Our new Curry club night starts next Tuesday (30th November). It will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and you can get a homemade curry and a pint for £5.50. We are joining forces with our friends and neighbours from across the way to put on a week long beer festival. Step back in time at The Riverside in the old district of Bridgehouses, where you will find Wards ale back on tap, White Sheild IPA from what is believed to be Britains oldest microbrewey, and some old school frivolity with our beer and bingo Wednesday night. Plus on Thursday we take you on a journey from England to India with a 3 course indian meal and 3 IPAs to go with it and tell you a bit about the history of this wonderful beer £15. We finish the week with some good old new orleans piano with Dale Storr (friday), and some one off brews on tap. Over the road at The Harlequin They kick things off on Monday with a beer and dessert night £10. ( two of my favourite things!) On Tuesday they are joined by Abbeydale brewery for a meet the brewer session. Wednesday is their cider tasting session £10, and if India isn't for you on Thursday then how about USA? The Harlequin will be holding an American beer tasting evening £10. It's a great chance to try all those beers without having to pay for the full pint. Whether you are a connoisseur or just fancying an intake of some vitamin B there's lots to choose from in both bars. Live music in both venues on Friday so why not bar hop, and try the one off brews in both venues

Expect the music of New Orleans, which can be anything from a classically influenced minuet, a Latin Rhumba, a back o' town junker blues to a frenzied boogie woogie. Hi, We have actually only recently started serving food (within the last 2 months). I am very sorry that you have had a bad experience and did not find the food up to standard, we are still finding our feet trialling the food to see what works. We are reallly keen to offer a good vegetarian selection although these are limited at the moment. We are endevouring to bring everything up to standard and to set our menu so that everything is at the same standard. Thankyou very much for your feedback as this will help us to improve what we offer.
