  1. There was a recent article about this on NowThen Magazine. Check the online version. My money's on Hagg Hill but the steepest one within 2 miles of the centre is Blake Street IMO
  2. With climate change and peak oil upon us, now may seem like a good time for many to say "the end is nigh!" and spend the last of the credit crunch savings on an epic night out. But in the interest of optimism for the long-term future, I'd like to propose an alternative, that of low energy, high quality living, and an event: Permaculture courses on the 17th-18th of July, and the 7th-8th of August. These course look to be inspirational, so I thought I'd put it up here if anyone's interested. Here are the details I know: Organised by Leed's Permaculture Network, about low-energy farming, It's going to be at Hazelhurst farm - a new community supported agriculture (CSA) project. It's being taught by Suzi High Call Suzi on 01142307461 for more information. Any other ideas for learning to grow stuff in Sheffield? Robin
