  1. Petty arrogant on your part to tell me what I am thinking. Angel1.
  2. Honest question, would you be prepared to do this, "end the use of cars, basically stop flying and go onto a vegetarian diet" . A simple yes or no will suffice. Angel1.
  3. In the article I read it says " Mr Merritt's father David, an estates manager at a sixth form college and Labour activist," so maybe this and his grief have clouded his judgment somewhat. I cannot come to terms with the pain he must be in at this time. Angel1.
  4. You cannot rehabilitate the unrehabilitatable. These types of fanatics are so indoctrinated there is only one way of stopping them. Your way has been tried and it's failed, and it has resulted in two innocent deaths, my way and they would still be alive. Open your eyes and see what is happening in our society. Angel1.
  5. As the UK's emissions are very low a little tinkering at the edges would be tolerable, any measures taken to radically alter the standard of living to comply with global warming would be a joke. Until the heavy polluters decide to reign in their emissions (which is very unlikely) we are like an old man peeing in the sea to raise the sea level. Angel1.
  6. On the wireless this lunch timeish, a clown of the highest order of clowns was actually given air time to spout this rubbish. The only way to stop global warming is to, "end the use of cars, basically stop flying and go onto a vegetarian diet" not in my lifetime buddy. Angel1.
  7. As a Brexiteer it saddens me to admit that Nige's manifesto will not mean as much as expected. I can see some Brexiteers voting Conservative in some seats. My own will be interesting, Stocksbridge and Penistone. Do we Brexiteers vote for our candidate thereby diluting the Conservative vote and letting Labour in by the back door. I wish Nigel had pulled the candidate, but he didn't, sadly. Angel1.
  8. Please inform me how Labour would pay for their manifesto pledges, PLUS the 58 billion to pay out the WASPI women, my missus is one by the way, we would not say no to 15k/30k but Corbyn sure as sugar is not getting our votes. Angel1.
  9. You really are obtuse. I am not referring to any other case in my post, that is obvious to any one with a modicum of common sense. Angel1.
  10. No matter where our goods are made, it does not alter the fact we are well down the polluters list. Striving to lower it more and more will only effect quality of life in the end, it has to it's just common sense. At seventy it will not alter my life in any way, but I wonder how many of these hard working young people would be fine if a law was passed restricting their three holidays a year in Spain to one. Another law is passed ENDING the use of petrol and diesel cars, making full electric cars mandatory even if they would be too expensive for many. Planes and cars just cannot be uninvented. Angel1.
  11. Dear me, read my post FULLY before posting inane comments if you please, thank you. """""" As the terrorist was wearing a suicide belt, real or false, his death was the only action they could take. """"""" Why should they be suspended waiting for an investigation when the situation they were involved in speaks for itself. Unless you think our Police strapped a suicide belt on the terrorist before they shot him. Angel1.
  12. Why Should I Register To Vote? Because if you do not register, you cannot vote. That is the simple answer, despite what you think of the system we employ to select our MP's. Here they are discussing Brexit in Westminster. Angel1.
  13. Rip to the two innocents murdered, condolences to their family's. Terrorist shot dead, the right result. Another one who will never threaten the public again. Hope the Police who did the act are back on duty, not sat waiting for some kind of investigation into their actions. As the terrorist was wearing a suicide belt, real or false, his death was the only action they could take. Well done to the guys in blue, it must be difficult to shoot a human to death at such close range, when you can see the whites of their eyes so to speak. Angel1.
  14. Compare these, then decide which would be possible (ha ha) to impliment. Then decide which one is beyond ridiculous. Angel1.
  15. Just two question to ask here, where is the UK in the list of high polluters, if the UK ended every emission it makes, what difference would it make if those on the list just chose to carry on regardless. Angel1
  16. Does not mean it's not true though does it. Angel1. Does not mean it's not true though does it. Angel1.
  17. From Mail online. Not good for St Jeremy is it Labour supporters. Jeremy Corbyn questions Israel's right to exist and says the BBC is 'biased' in favour of Jewish state in shocking 2011 video from Iranian TV that re-ignites the Labour anti-Semitism row He spoke to Tehran-backed Press TV - since banned from operating in the UK He attacks the British broadcaster's coverage of issues in the Middle East He said: 'I think there is a bias towards saying ... that Israel has a right to exist' Maybe Corbyn should be removed asap, while there is still a wee chance of a Labour Victory in the forthcoming GE. With him at the helm, Labour is doomed. Angel1.
  18. There are non so blind as those who refuse to see. Angel1.
  19. You are the only person in the country to think that, and that includes St Jeremy's disciples who mostly agree that he made one almighty hash up of the whole interview. Therefore I must conclude that you are out of your depth when discussing politics. Here is a little clue for you so you can contact your idol and tell him where he went completely off the rails. Neil, "would you like to take this opportunity tonight to apologize to the British Jewish community", four time he asked Corbyn, four times he declined to answer. A simple yes, I apologize would have saved him some face in the car crash interview, but the fool did not have the sense to do it. And you want this twerp to run our country, I despair. Angel1.
  20. Jeremy on the Andrew Neil show this evening, car crash does not do it justice. Neil ripped St Jezza into shreds, did not see him answer one question throughout the whole show. Corbyn must be the best thing ever for the Tory hope of a large victory in the forthcoming GE. Angel1.
  21. My point is you have it wrong. have a look on google how to express 32 million. I think you will find I have the correct figure, 32 and six zeros, as above. Your 32 thousand billion is, 32000000000000. Here endeth the lesson. Are you Diane Abacus Abbott's relative, you seem to have her ability for numbers. Angel1.
  22. according to the 2011 Census, the working age population (people aged 16 to 64 years) was 34.3 million Angel1.
