  1. wasnt manor lodge excavated in the 70,s quite an extensive dig as i remember
  2. well graves park farm is brilliant,its free and you can feed some off the annimals and they have newborns for the kids to pet,over in the park is a play area,but good for an hour its not big so no walking a long way,clifton park in rotherham is also good when the weather is nice,it has sand pits for the little ones and in summer a fair thats very cheap and a brilliant water area with changing rooms,if you do go buy your ice creams and drinks at the kiosk at the water area they are cheaper and bigger than the ice cream vans that rip you off

  4. haha long time ago,it was kevin and his dad bill,who moved to napoleons on ecclesall road,i went to bonapartes to help move it to hillsborough before going to napoleons,it was sure full off charecters

  6. haha good memories,i was a dorrman in the early 80s there and big jim was the funniest bloke if you could tell what he was saying,robbie was like a terrier if anyone had drinks or ciggaretes on the dance floor,monday nights casual night,a very busy time,good atmosphere and good poeple,allways wonderd what happend to keiron who worked there,maybee someone knows
  7. ive found marriott is quite a common name in sheffield and surrounding areas,my dad was called phillips his brothers were jack cliff and barry,there mothers name was mary if its any help
  8. i started as an apprentice in 1976,ron was the foreman if i remmber,cant remmber any names accept rivet who introduced me to newcastle brown ale,sadly i had a motorbike accident and couldnt continue but i loved the time i spent there

  11. haha a thought just occurd to me,we went to allastairs wedding and i sat next to your dad in the church i wonder if you were the baby he was holding then,allways laughed cos off the amount off tissues and other baby items he had in his pockets,something i came to appreciate when i became a dad,in case you missed my other thred give him my regards,it was about 81 -83 i was on the door,with kieron and paddy and mick then i moved to napoleons,
  12. haha the y were funny,i used to drive them round sheffield in my american car and was the prcussionists bodygueard,never was told why he needed one but fun times,i was working the door at josephines at the same time,the lead singer august was a bugger for the ladies

  15. geoff was working for his brother peter in london the last time i saw him,that was in1997 he often came to club i worked in and us being the only sheffielders we often chatted,what hes done since then ive no idea,
