  1. Just seen a smashed car that had appeared to crash into give way sign from Stannington Rd. This was about 8.15pm Hope everyone is OK!
  2. I've Avast Online Security switched off. Avast SafePrice switched off Google Docs offline switched on Chrome Apps Docs switched on Chrome Apps Sheets switched on The developer mode was switched off. Anything dodgy there please? (Avast free antivirus is on though via the hidden icons!)
  3. Sorry Ghozer, but not the most knowledgeable re computers. Looked for it here, https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions?hl=en Don't know where to find.
  4. recently switched from IE11 to Chrome. Impressed, however when I run spybot -search & destroy it always finds... CasaleMedia & Double Click So I remove them, but as soon as I reuse Chrome, they're back. This does not happen with IE11. I'd like to be able to prevent them, any suggestions please?
  5. Is that why they're called 'smack-heads'?
  6. You make it sound like they only empty a handful.
  7. Heavy rain at moment at Stannington. S1*t - when's it going to be summer? Update: Well that was one hell of a 3 minute downpour!
  8. Sometimes putting the number in google will bring up any history.
  9. I had a problem once with a DW, fortunately in the garage. It wouldn't work, can't remember if it was tripping a CB, but there was a considerable amount of water in like a shelf / tank underneath which I noticed when I moved it to try and investigate. To cut a long story short, I left it at an angle to drain it off for a day or two and after it worked with no problem. Coincidence? Maybe, that's the benefit of having it in the garage! I also think DART are right for a 4 year dishwasher. Good luck!
  10. An excellent chance to see if your burglar alarm battery needed replacing!
  11. I would take EVERTHING out of plug sockets and check if the circuit breaker (I presume that's what cd263u is) stays on. if it does not, your problem is probably in the wiring. If it's OK, replace everything one by one and switch on. This may tell you what is at fault. (I'm not a 'trician, but you will not be in danger trying this).
  12. Spot on. I had a HMO and they assumed a student had left at the end of his tenancy agreement. He hadn't and despite his exemption certificate still valid for a further year, they sent a full bill. Other exempt students had longer agreements. See you in the phone queue.
  13. I remember Robin stepping in when Tom McAnearney was injured. A reserve payer who didn't disappoint. Made 30 odd appearances. ---------- Post added 17-06-2018 at 20:05 ---------- Kirby? Was he a sweeper?
  14. It's Hillsborough, not the ski village!
  15. Oliveira? The guy missing all the chances against us last match? No Jack Palance!
  16. Seen some, the hill top walks derwent, kinder etc.- not bad.
  17. I would have expected section 8 in the circumstances of rent arrears. S21 is often referred to as 'no fault' notice. Rental arrears is hardly such.
  18. It may help fitters etc if you mention what boiler is in now and will it be similar that goes in. Ideal 24kw combis are about £550 at A&C bathrooms, we had one fitted recently, but the gas safe guy is a friend for the fitting cost. Just make sure she doesn't decide today - I wouldn't trust BGs prices!
  19. Good site, I'm impressed, thanks. Will be good for hill walk preparation.
  20. Remember the story, what a great fellah! R.I.P Ian.
  21. Baxi 105he combi frequently goes into lockdown when not used for a few hours. Flame failure light flashes. Resetting usually gives following:- Ignites but packs up after about 10secs. Has another couple of attempts then lockdown repeats. Can get boiler going by turning on DHW while boiler is lit for that 10 seconds. THEN once water has run hot up to top temperature, if central heating is switched on it will perform OK. IF we do not let hot water get up to temp for a minute, the CH refuses, and it switches off and goes back into lockdown (maybe after a couple more attempts and 10 secs being lit). gas safe guy replaced flame sensing electrode and commented that condensate tank was fine, clear and not blocked. Problem is also when electrode was replaced it was working (as with each resetting procedure), but after no use for 1/2 day wouldn't ignite on timed and needed resetting etc once more. Boiler is about 10 years old. Any similar experience or advice would be most welcome. THANKS.
