  1. Hello folks, hope this finds you all well, especially you Kristian.. Well, as it ses in the title - anyone know of any courses? I have a gix 750 (for non bike au-fait folks thats a suzuki gsxr - sporty little number ;-) ) and I dunno an o-ring from a split link...well..I do...but I'm woefully letting my bike down and if I don't get my act together soon I won't be able to park up outside the Ladybower without being rediculed and berated for having a sagging chain. Any info mucho appreciated, so far google is only coming up with the Zen book and I'm too lazy to search again ;-) Cheers in anticipation Billie
  2. ..used to water ski on Treeton Dike before it became a proper boat/ski club....the pylon, trees and cars made good obstacles for slalom
  3. So what was it? Friend of mine lives there and is on hols at the mo....
  4. actually I was just repeating what Charlie said...
  5. good, good, keep an eye on the to and too's too..I mean aswell
  6. I'd get a different solicitor if I were your dad.... Right, just asked the commercial insurance blokie across the office - it's not the responsibility of your dad/his solicitor to establish the firm's insurance co cos it's the firm he'll be claiming against and upto them to invoke insurance cover.....unless the firm has gone into liquidation or or no longer exists in which case he's shafted cos this bloke ses there is no register or database for these things. Legislation within the last 5 years means an employer legally has to retain the commercial insurance documents for 40 years so if your dad's claim is in the last 5 years the insurance policy should be available.
  7. getting their, there and they're mixed up annoys me more.......
  8. Indeed, but it's a business not a public service. While there is no intention of assisting a lesser economy none the less it is an effect. I suppose I'm a cup half full kinda person....or not a blinkered 'tard...take your pick. And course there will be a cascade effect....granted the people working in the call centres in India are the highly and expensively educated priviledged population but since you mention the creaming/distribution of wealth here you will see the breadline is much healthier than it used to be. And 'by any means' NU are hardly employing 8 year old loveyoulongtime's are they!!
  9. Why? It's business, that's how it is. Anyone would want to maximise their investments be it Aviva or the clothes shop called Aviva just round the corner from Horizon (Norwich offices). Think on a more global plateau - redundancy is regretable in some instances but think of the cascade effect this kind of employment has on the people and economy of India which not so long ago was screwed over as part of the British Empire. They need it more than we do, we can find other jobs.... We'll just have to see. Perhaps people will demonstrate their displeasure and take their business elsewhere but I think not since profits have been record since the last batch of redunancies and transfer of business overseas.
  10. Suspect package? I can show you a suspect package..can I..can I Kris? errrr, can you post pics on here, not been on very often...hm, lemme see...
  11. Indeedie - I asked for cold hard cash when I got lumbered!!! So don't listen to me Still ended up with orange hideously patterned bath towels and a set of tupaware with lids that dont fit. Hmm, now what did Kristian buy me......oh yeah - nothing
  12. You need thicker skin, I believe I am qualified in life experiences to comment, so how on earth do you cope if someting so trivial as a post upsets you. Hugs n'stuff anyway, but crikey - get over it, chill!
  13. Been to TT's a couple of times - love the smell!!
  14. Short answer to the original post - no hth
