Don't think Rolf will be there in person. Usually when events appear on the Event Sheffield website thay clearly state if a personal appearence is expected. Sorry!

John lewis informed me the other day that there may be a few signal problems on my TV over the next 5-6 weeks as they are working on the Emley Moor transmitter, so people in Sheffield may experience tuning difficulties and intermitttent signal problems. Also Freeview does need to be retuned in order to get newer channels like Dave Dave Ja Vu (25) which started earlier this year. So i suggest trying to retune freeview to find any new channels and pick up old stations again but signal problems may occur again due to the work going on.

Perhaps if we had a Tourist Information Centre in an obvious and easy to find loaction then perhaps we wouldn't need so many city centre ambassadors?!! Also - how many City Centre Ambassadors does it need to stand by the cake stall in the Winter Gardens and chat for a hour????? :mad:3!!!! I counted them on Tuesday!

Cheers for all your input guys. i don't think theres a problem with the pub, more the behaviour of customers outside! The landlord seems to be aware of it so hopefully things will calm down now (well once the footy is over!!!!)

The customers from the Hallamshire do seem to have moved to the Grindstone now. Not good! They certainly seem to have some lovely anti-social habits.

I live across the road from the Grindstone pub in Crookes. Recently the customers there have been really noisey (and the music from the pub too!), hanging around outside with their drinks, breaking glasses eveywhere, running across the road in traffic. etc It's getting to be a real annoyance, and the other night I caught one customer ******* against my groundfloor flat window:gag:. I'm not impressed! Is anyone else having problems? If so you can call the 101 anti-social behaviour number for SY police.
