  2. Put them on Ebay, I wanted to sell my small collection of around 20 DVD's + a couple of box set DVD's, so i tried Music magpie and they offered £23 for the lot so i listed them on Ebay and got £64 and all it took was a little time and patience.
  3. I hope someone has an answer, the sane people os Sheffield would like to know where to avoid ;p
  4. How about the Trans penine trail from Rother valley towards chesterfield its nice and flat.
  5. My wife and i don't drive, so an easy way out into the Peak District is to catch the 51 bus to its terminus at Lodge moor. Then walk along Redmires road past the Dams and onto Stanage Edge, down into Hathersage. Its about 5 miles mostly flat untill Stanage Edge then all down hill passing the Bronte Cottage (where Charlotte Bronte did some of her writing) to Hathersage, where there are a couple of nice pubs that do food. Then its either the bus (sorry not sure of the number we usually look at the bus stop as we get into Hathersage) or the train back to Sheff .
  6. Ebay don't just have people selling second hand/used. try here http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Tritton+ax720
  7. Try the council/veolia they have a service to remove this type of refuse, if your a council tennant they do it for free, if not then there is a charge. this link may help https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/environment/waste/bincollections/bulkycollections.html
  8. Its about time whoever is responsible for the pond removed the barriers and unchained the gates, as the pond is full of water and the danger of deep mud has passed. There is even a couple of ducks on the pond atm.
  9. For the second time in 2 weeks we had the gritters round last night. With no sign of frost never mind icy conditions. Why are the council wasting the time, money and salt, gritting the roads when its not needed? No doubt they'll be on the news when we are under 2 foot of snow telling us it's not the council's fault we don't have enough salt to keep the roads clear. To cap it all off as i sit here typing this a road sweeper has just gone past doing its rounds of the estate, i wonder if someone at the council has realised their mistake and is trying to reclaim the salt to recycle it
  10. He had a road named after him just outside handsworth http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&sugexp=kjrmc&cp=22&gs_id=2e&xhr=t&gs_upl=&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1680&bih=935&q=pickard+drive+sheffield&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x48799d42162e790
