  1. Does any one know of a good Classic Rock singer, band waiting to start gigging, tons of experience and talent, just need the front man.
  2. Singer wanted for Classic Rock covers band, stage experience would be preferred but not essential. Age is not an issue if you can sing, we are all around the half century with a wealth of experience. Own rehearsal room in Sheffield with PA. Looking to be gigging two to three times per month. You must have a good sense of humor, and be able to front 4 show men. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Tim
  3. Andy at Sevenoaks is very good, but they usually only install their own gear they sell, Leigh at Home Cinema Solutions installs all kit, and if needed can supply kit through us.
  4. HI Jibbs1977 we have an installer that works with us, he has done some great work for us, his name is Leigh and the company is called home cinema solutions mobile 07825587524 if you could mention Tim from A1 Sound recommended him, hope he can help you out.
  5. I would if I could see what was doing it, counted 15 bites this morning.
  6. Has any one else in crosspool area started to get bites, we are getting them all the time now, we thought it at first was the dogs and flea's but is not it seems to be out side in the garden, bites around ankles main area, but also on rest of body, we have not been sat out at night, any one got any ideas what is biting us, and how to stop it, as the itch like mad. Cheers
  7. Denon is a very good make but ther are other options out ther try Harman-Kardon who are big in cars, fitted in mercs and BMW but also do a fantastic home hi-fi and home cinema systems, and sonically beat Denon hands down, but it is all personal prefrences, sony are not the best in hi-fi but serve a purpose at a price point. Kind Regards Scotdoggie.
  8. Just started on e-bay sell Hi-Fi and accesorries, doing well, watch out for idiots with neg feed back as they try to ruin it for all of us, but have done some good business so far, and touch wood, no probs as yet, go for it , if you do not want it, someone out there does and they are willing to pay for it, pay pal is good but costs, not too complicated to do, put your self an hour aside for your first listing and you will be OK after that, you will be listing stuff in ten mins. Regards Scotdoggie.
  9. Bulbs are around £300 to replace so be very careful as you do not know the age, even if the projector has a bulb hour counter this can be reset by the user, not that they would do something like that, good new ones are about £1000 but could be worth it in the long run, try not to get one too bright as the pic can look washed out, try 1000 ansi lumens max for home cinema use. Regards Scotdoggie.
  10. My advice is have a go, I set up in retail one year ago and it is the hardest year I have had, but rewarding, I now employ people and things are looking up, but get ready, I thought I was going to do this to allow me not to be tied to my job, I was not going to work seven days a week, I now work seven days a week. lol GO FOR IT. Regards Scotdoggie Ps Enterprise offer good advice, and e-bay although we did not start with it is now proving a fantastic place to trade.
  11. The best projectors for home cinema use at the moment are DLP digital light processing, Optoma have a range starting from just over £1000 , electric remote screens are cool if you can run to it a tab tension is the better bet, try not to pick a projector that is too bright, 1000 ansi lumens is about as bright as you would want it, or you will get a washed out pic. drop us a mail if you require any further advice, I use one at home and could not go back to using the Tv again Regards Scotdoggie.
  12. Sounds like it is your Tv not Sky box, it will be probably set to smart which trys to detect aspect ratio, try to force TV to a set picture. Regards Scotdogie.
  13. H30 nice bit of kit, use an old Sonyo pv 30 lcd on to a 5ft electric at the moment, Harman -Kardon AVR 630, with a Mordaunt short package, 908 avant 905 C Boston rears and boston sub, this is a kick ass system, on doth music and films, lucky no detached, but still have the odd coment. want to upgrade projector when funds allow to H57, work in the trade so if I can offer any advice feel free to drop us a mail. Kind regards scotdoggie
