Perhaps to give him something (anything) to do ? Or perhaps lining him up to replace Prince Andrew, who seems to have become an increasing embarrassment. Depending on the result of the AV referendum Clegg might be looking for fresh fields to graze, - fields with comfortable perks and allowances of course.
Â
I don't think there is much to be won in Mexico in view of their membership of the North American Trade Organisation and their extensive trade with Spain and their neighbours in Latin America.
Â
Still a few days in a luxury hotel and the warm Mexican sunshine ought to be good for him.

I'm not rioting and don't see anyone else at it apart from the usual numpties last Saturday.
Â
Come on, let us in on the details of this secret riot....where, when etc. ?
Â
Should we dress in all black and conceal our faces so we don't get filmed being wicked ?

These credit users and abusers share just as much of the blame as the bankers. And there's a hell of lot more of them than bankers (and still more than 'bankers-that-needed-rescuing').
Â
Amen to that. Imagine the shrieks of dismay if the BoE out the base rate up to 2.5%
Â
The Samaritans would be on overtime.

lol no one interested in this then, mind you bet half of this lot are down there already.Â
The stupidity of the ultra stupid left seems to have been fully anticipated.
Â
My guess is that they are put up to it by elements of the the MSM to make the event 'newsworthy'.
Â
No show without Punch.

A typical example of how idle and unfounded gossip can cause moral panic.Â
How ? Where ? When ? Why ?
Â
Have you got a link to the Star headline and the postings here ?
Â
WHAT are you talking about ???

I play "Money for nothing" by Dire Straits at full blast with the window down on a warm day, does that make me a chav?Â
Playing anything full blast with the windows down is pig ignorant and typical chav behaviour.
Â
But I guess you knew that already

Self-catering always has been the better option in hospitals.

Total number of Tomahawks fired so far: 124Â
From US ships: 122
From British submarine: 2
Â
If there's a shelf life then that's being taken care of I reckon.
Â
Well I hope so.....we can't afford to replace them.
Â
At least now Cameron has won his spurs and will get mentioned in the history books.

What a load of lefty tripe!..........the Tories didn't need to punish Sheffielders! they just left that to Bunkett, Betts,Caborn, etc to do it for them. And now we have another daft Sheffielder about to send millions down the drain in London, Lord Coe!......another idiot great at spending other peoples money on daft ideas!
Â
How much is Sheffield Council contributing to the Oympics ?
Â
The next albatross round our necks will be the PFI resurfacing scheme, if it ever comes off. How many £millions a year will the council have to find for that ?
-
It seems the govt. intend to do something about the problem.
Â
Â
Squatting is already illegal in Scotland.
-
Now if the economy can be culled along with a signifanct number of people then we won't need as much and could begin to look at a sustainable future regarding our energy needsÂ
Who will decide which people are to be 'culled' and who will do the killing culling ?

I doubt you actually need to move into Stocksbridge.
Â
Some friends of ours living in Grenoside have a daughter there and she travels to school with 2 or 3 other girls from Grenoside.
Â
Oughtibrdge might be a good choice, it's on the Stocksbridge bus route.

The older you get the nearer you are to the exit.
Â
Can't be a bad thing in this day and age.

1)Â
2) I think many people are now realising they made a huge mistake in placing their trust in two partys' who are both as guilty of misleading the electorate in their manifestos as each other.
Â
Arguably true, but we haven't had the opportunity to judge how far from their stated intentions the Labour party would have strayed had they won the election or managed to fix a coalition with the Libdems.
Â
You know in your heart they all play the same game.

New Scientist today reports on a portable brain scanner small enough to be worn by rats and rabbits while they're engaged in their usual business.
Â
http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn20227-first-wearable-brain-scanner-lets-rats-run-free.html
Â
"The team is also hoping to develop wearable scanners for people and monkeys, so they too can move around and engage in activities while their brains are being scanned. "We're considering this at the moment," says Schlyer. "It would be something like a football helmet." "
Â
Of course this development need only be of concern to those of us who have a brain. (Thought I'd better get that in before some other Smart Alec does ).

Why don't the ConDems do what Labour are suggesting and reintroduce Labours Bankers windfall tax to promote economic growth???.Â
Why would a new govt. take advice from members of the previous govt. the electorate had rejected ?
Â
They had 13 years to gain the enduring confidence of the British public but failed. Ed Balls was one of the chief architects of that failure but now believes he has the right to suggest' govt. policy ?

I've just been out to get rice, bread, and candles to use during the rolling blackouts. The streets and shops are full of people with the same idea.I managed to get a couple of loaves and the last 2kg bag of rice in the store but all the candles are gone.At least, everything is orderly and the people are in good humour.it's probably because we're all happy to be alive. It's just two years since I went on the wagon and my resolve was sorely tested last Friday night but I came through it ok.It was a real 'brown trouser job'.Â
Hard luck with the candles, but you could make yourself a couple of oil lamps if you can get the materials....
Â

Â
I imagine you can substitute any light veggie oil for olive oil if that is hard to find.

Â
I think the New Scientist watching brief on the situation is likely to be less sensational than the Sidney Morning Herald.

I'm sure Scotland had problems, with sudden dead sheep etc? All this stuff is covered up anyways.Â
Nah...the sheep weren't dying, - just glowing in the dark.

I think they might be having us though.Â
Us ?.....who is 'us' ?
Â
Japan is going to need a lot of international help over the next several years; they're not likely to be telling porkies about the state of a damaged nuclear power plant.
Â
And who has more experience of the horrors of radiation poisoning than the Japanese ?

The test for Clegg will come with the Tories' reform privatisiation of the NHS. Conference today forced him to accept a motion condemning the reforms, but will he act on it ?
Â
Cameron is trying to force through Lansley's plans for a top down reorganisation , despite promising not to do so in the coalition agreement,
Â
Clegg won't want to rock the boat, especially as he's the last person anyone would throw a life-jacket to.
-
It's reported that on Radio Sheffield today when talking about the bankers he said "I want to wring the neck of these wretched people".
Â
Not quite the official policy line Cleggy, but I'm sure many will be in full agreement with the sentiment.
-
Nick Clegg has committed the Lib Dems to being in a coalition government for a full five years. The Lib Dems are now reaping public opprobrium for making that decision.
Â
Had the numbers been different and Clegg had formed a coalition with Labour would you still be giving him the big sneer ? I think not.
Â
It's all just sour grapes.

The tsunami is going to affect a huge number of people - it's about to hit Taiwan and next the Philippines. Some of the small, low lying Pacific islands are likely to be completely engulfed.
Â
A map of the timing and extent of the affected areas is here, although the height and strength of the wave will dissipate over distance.

Hardly 'ancient'. Agden and Wigtwizzle commons were both open heathland until the reservoir was built.
