  1. He will probably make it worse. He'll make life a lot harder for so many different sections of society. Women, who he disrespects. The disabled, who he mocks. Muslims, who he hates. He will cosy up to Putin and the two of them will dictate to the middle east and start another cold war with Europe. I hope he is assassinated!
  2. All those reptilian Londoners are going to have to see daylight for a change! Good luck to the strikers! People power!
  3. Republicans and NRA nutters are nothing but brainwashed, ignorant, selfish hypocrites! White American shoots someone, it's a problem with the individual, not the easy access to guns. Brown skinned immigrant shoots someone, it's a terrorist attack and the whole of Islam is to blame!? Check the stats, which is really more dangerous?!
  4. I don't see it as a political symbol you plonker! That was the whole point. Unfortunately it has been hijacked, not just by the far right but also by other extremists that see it as offensive. The poppy, the English flag, anything patriotic, is manipulated as a weapon and I think it's a shame.
  5. I think it's a shame that anything slightly patriotic has been hijacked to be used as a political symbol. I don't wear a poppy but that's not because I don't respect the fallen of the 2 world wars, or any other war for that matter. I choose not to wear one because of what the poppy has come to symbolise of late. Idiot far right groups that use it to demonise none British faiths, the same people are so offended by immigrants that they use the St George cross as a banner and use contradictory terms like "if this flag offends you **** off!". Ironic that most people wear poppies to remember a war that was fought to stop a racist dictator, yet they use the poppy to (perhaps unknowingly) highlight their own racist tendencies! ---------- Post added 02-11-2016 at 12:26 ---------- Or choose not to wear it and stI'll be proud to do so!
  6. Not really. Just make sure that everyone has a roof over their heads and money to put back into the economy. It's about time people stopped living in constant debt.
  7. I'd put that down to the amount of people having a go at being self employed. Government cuts have left people with little chouse but to fend for themselves, bit that's exactly what the conservatives want us to do, isnt it? Every man for themselves!
  8. I woder what's attractive about "Great" Britain? On one hand people bang on and on about how wonderful our tiny island is and on the other they can't get their head round the fact that people would rather come here than France?! Backwards logic if you ask me!
  9. What a backward, short sighted comment! There homes have been BOMBED! They come to Europe lookin for refuge and you wonder why they get angry when their camp is being demolished?! ---------- Post added 24-10-2016 at 14:25 ---------- A lot of them are fleeing bombs that were dropped on their country.........for economic reasons!!
  10. Could be for some of them, yeah. Their mum and dad might be forced to stay there due to financial reasons and/or political reason's but they've seen an opportunity to get their children to safety by sending them to the UK to stay with family.
  11. One man hadn't seen his son for 11 years, he came over here for work and had been sending his family money him. Which other one would you like me to pull pillock!
  12. I don't think we are in a position to pick and choose to be honest. If we hadn't had a direct hand in reducing their countriesto rubble then maybe so ---------- Post added 20-10-2016 at 14:13 ---------- Under what circumstances did they leave their children? One man said it had been 11 years since he had saw his son. Plenty of families move abroad to work and send money back home.
  13. No they shouldn't! They should get the hell out of there and survive! If my country was being torn apart by civil war, I wouldn't stay and fight for a government I don't agree with or a monarchy I despise. I'd take my family and children and get to somewhere safe as soon as possible!
  14. Do I need to humour that with an answer? They've been reunited with their parents, who live in the UK.
  15. Yes, they were the ones who were reunited with there parents on that very day. Have you never seen one before? Many teenagers have facial hair before turning 18. Especially children from a middle eastern family. ---------- Post added 20-10-2016 at 13:40 ---------- Must be a terrorist then. Give him a job in the cabinet, he'd fit right in!
  16. I had crows feet from a very early age. They appeared naturally every time I SMILED! You should try it sometime. They have all been returned to their parents, who were waiting for them. Let's say some of them aren't under 18.....should that really be a valid reason to not let them reunite with their families and leave a country that is being bombed on a daily basis?
  17. Did you not have a hairy chest and/or stubble by the time you were 18?
  18. Stop spouting the same old rubbish! It's a fact that its a tiny proportion of our budget is spent on looking after asylum seekers. Miniscule, in fact....and yet people like you, who pretentious not to be racist, make out that it's a massive problem?! It's people like you that are the problem! ---------- Post added 20-10-2016 at 12:56 ---------- How do you know how old they are? Do you know any 18 year old that look older than they are? Stop being a closet racist and just come out with it. At least be honest with yourself!
  19. You've not got an old fashioned view at all. You just fail to see things from someone else's point of view, that's the old fashioned part. My hero's are mainly musicians and people in the arts world. Most of them were troubled souls who struggled with drugs, such as Kurt Cobain and John Bonham. Things like this are subjective......My biggest hero is my son and he's only 6!
