  1. Sweaty Betty! Me neither. I wouldn't call bint that sexist anyway. Same ball park as calling a bloke a b**l end and I've been called that on many occasion myself.......sometimes deservidly!
  2. You don't need ID to buy a kitchen knife. Correction....it's illegal to sell any knife to anyone under 18. How strictly that's enforced I don't know.
  3. The guardian has 7.5 million followers on facebook and 6.5 million on twitter. The times has just over half a million on Facebook and just under 1 million on twitter. Only the daily fail ha's more followers than the guardian.....but they just fill their news feed with celebrities......it's like reading Take a Break.....but hey, if that's how they want to pull in their young readers, so be it!
  4. It's an insult, one that I quite like using.......I don't see it as sexist. If you don't think I'm really left leaning, please search through my posts Johnson......you'll have to go back several years to see the main body of my work though. I'm not glued to this place like I used to be......which is why I haven't got a clue to your other reference about Mel. Sorry! Also, what has left am right wing political views got to do with being sexist? Are you trying to imply that the majority of Tories are none PC woman haters?
  5. That will change when the Mail and Times readers die out! (Which won't be long) The left wing press are more in touch with younger readers and have a larger online following.....they're more up to date with the times ---------- Post added 29-06-2017 at 12:14 ---------- I get all my news from Facebook actually.....well, 99% of it. You can subscribe to any news outlet you want and receive article as they happen from all of them at once which gives you a better perspective. I don't know what you could possible have against such a fantastic news feed. As long as you keep an eye out for the fake news (which is easy to spot in most cases), you're laughing. People don't actually get news from Facebook itself. They don't have journalists working for them or anything
  6. While we're talking about a fair media coverage.......I don't read the S*n or the Daily Fail at all, but I do follow their Facebook news feeds, you know, for...erm balance, and stuff...........anyway, Not one mention about the Tory/DUP vote on public sector pay........there was something about the Loch Ness monster in the Fail that was published about the same time... If this is a fair, balanced and informative source of news......I'm a lumberjack!
  7. All handguns and automatic rifles should be banned for public use. They're for killing other people.......nothing else and not one person here has the right to do that.
  8. What's the difference between travelling to the mainland for an abortion then? You can't use these policies against each other!
  9. No magic money tree? Patronising, evil, twisted old bint!! Politics in the UK has hit a new low.... (how many times have I said that to myself lately) Then she has the bile to stand and cheer with the rest of her multimillionaire friends as a vote to cut (in real terms) public sector pay.......in the shadow of that burnt out tower? Absolutely pathetic to the core!! ---------- Post added 29-06-2017 at 08:57 ---------- You're the biggest troll on this site! You haven't got a clue what you're talking about. You really think what your great leader is doing is right? Nothing about her pathetic attempts to cling to power have even a shred of decency about them......She's in denial. She's nothing more than a puppet with the festerING hand of the capitalist elite shoved firmly up her backside!
  10. The establishment it losing its grip as a whole and it's making them panic and behave very irrationality. If the Tory party were up against someone like Blair again, ie someone who would still service their needs, TM would have stepped down by now. Corbyn doesn't represent them and they are terrified! It's going to be fun watchin them lose it when he finally does become PM!
  11. Comical!! It was Theresa May who broke tradition (got it wrong) by bowing to the Queen, yet the toilet paper press has gone into its usual nonsensical overdrive with another flappy attampt to smear Corbyn Our "strong and stable" leader wouldn't even visit the victims of the grenfell tower, yet it's Corbyn who's the trator for not bowing to the Queen........when he wasn't supposed to........
  12. I qualify for labours 50p tax band and I'm more than happy to pay it!
  13. Overpopulation wouldn't be an issue if we lived in a socialist world
  14. Most of benefits are given to people in work! Business isn't cut throat, its greedy and lazy! People have never been so well off? Why does every supermarket have a donation for food banks? People are struggling and the torys keep taking from them with this endless austerity scam, as if it's their fault that the economy went t1ts up in 2008, when we all know it was the banks fault!
  15. What's not to like? How about cuts to schools, selling off the NHS, no real pay increase for 10 years, cuts to disability allowance and a national debt of over £590 billion?? Truly a system that only works for the few! ---------- Post added 23-04-2017 at 17:04 ---------- No, of cause not. That's why other con tries have twice as many as we do and some are even trialing a 6 hour working week. Happy, well paid people spend more money that depressed, stressed, overworked people.
  16. Each to their own. ---------- Post added 23-04-2017 at 15:30 ---------- Like it or not, it's already happend. Hatred between left and right has never been so nasty.
  17. Torys probably have a Jimmy Day. They all like screwing miners!
  18. The far right........Make St George's day a bank holiday now! Jeremy Corbyn, I'll make St George's day a bank holiday along with all the other Patron St day in the UK. Far right........wait, what?! I've noticed very little moaning about today not being a bank holiday. Amazing how quickly people can change there minds If only people based their political beliefs on policy rather than personality!
  19. Sand coloured camouflage. Surely you must have seen this before? ---------- Post added 14-04-2017 at 01:39 ---------- I don't think this strike was aimed at anything. I think it was a flex of the muscles.
  20. Other than the Chinese state, Philip Morris is the largest tobacco company in the world. Recently the tobacco giant has said that the companies future will be dedicated to smoke free products. This decision is undoubtedly based upon years of government regulations and persistent health campaigns rather than a voluntary decision made by the company. Surely this is a sign that making addictive substances legal and regulating their industry actually works compared to outright prohibition? Granted, the process takes time; decades, generations, even, but it seems to have worked with the tobacco industry so far?
  21. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but why do impounded vehicles all seem to be crushed when you watch these police programmes on TV? Shurley some kind of central, public funded garage where impounded vehicles are tested and sold back to the public would be a better idea?
