Scrappy first half only lit up by two cracking goals, Blackburn edged it without creating too much, second half the Owls started to look better and scored another good goal from Johnson (who had a great game) a calamity by the Blackburn keeper gave us a cushion that we managed to hold onto for a fantastic win.

Good to see one Sheffield side is giving their survival battle a good go.

Johnson , for me MOM , along with Vaulks & their keeper 😀

Make that twice in 22.  It doesn't help when most of the players can't be bothered & we've a keeper, who'd have to raise his game just to be classed as s****, (I don't know why you're sat on the bench Foderingham?).

I don't want to see or hear Wilder defending them, I want to see him disowning them.

    I need a drink.

Record Power Tools still exists & is based at Barlborough near Chesterfield.

I work for Record power at  sheffield  when it was on   kettlebridge Rd  Darnall just off the parkway for 12 years & left before it closed , Record power part was then  bought out by a consortium of managers then moved to Chesterfield

Looks like they’ll be 30,000 plus at Hillsborough tomorrow…& considering we’ve been in the bottom three all season…the home attendances & away followings have been fantastic..

Apparently only 2k tickets remain & Stoke  have sold their allocation also

Both Sheffield clubs are currently cursed by owners who have no genuine attachment to the club or the city.

Back in the day we moaned about the owners but at least they had some understanding and sympathy with the fans.

I met Eric Taylor on a number of occasions through business, both at Hillsborough and at his home on Tom Lane.

Eric Taylor was a gentleman, and he cared about Wednesday and about Sheffield football in general.

I also know Mike Wragg and have travelled with him to a number of away games back in the day. Mike Wragg genuinely cares for the Blades.

Those days are long gone mores the pity because now it's all about money.

😞 sorry  but the Owls  owner trumps yours ,plurrrrrr😀

Ask all you like ..I’ve not  said anything about United’s financial issues now ..I know as much as you about them …you need to be asking other posters about the current situation, not me ..

Im just sat here enjoying my sausage roll …reading about United’s points deduction & avoidance of further transfer embargo’s ….for financial irregularities…..

Some will be choking on a Chip butty at this moment 😀
