I've noticed a leak in one of the gutters on my house also the length of guttering on the front of the house doesn't drain water properly. Can anyone recommend a good contractor or company? I live in Woodhouse S13...

Did you ever get a rough price? My garage roof needs doing but I need a guide price before I start getting quotes as if its a lot of money its not worth it as there is very little in there.

A lot depends on what you are going to do yourself. I bought a renovation three years ago and did the following: New Windows and Doors, Kitchen, Bathroom, Replater, New Central Heating System, Gas to the Property, Re-wire, New Water Pipers, Half Roof Repair, Doors and Frames, Carpets and Decorating. I did everything except the gas, electrics and hanging the doors with help from friends. This saved a fortune, not including decorating I estimate it was about 20k but doing it all in the evenings and weekends meant it took about 18 months to complete. I'm guessing that most of those 6,000 hadn't been there for years. I watched the Eagles every week and the crowds were really poor. It's a shame to see it go but as nobody used it or supported the activities that were there you can see why the council pulled the plug.

It was on the TV but since then I think they spent a lot of money to get it right again. I have been in there since and had a friend who worked there and I liked it.

There are some enrolled businesses nearby that will swipe your little coin and then parking will cost you £4 for any amount of time up until midnight that day. Stupidly I don't think the theatres are one of the business enrolled.
