at my old school which used to be called rollestone juniors and infants we had ; tudor, stuart, hanover and windsor

i lived on portland walk for about 18 months and then moved on to edith walk a 3 bedroom it was great iwas so sad to leave there. i wish i could have moved that flat to somewhere else instead of the house i live in, it seems so small compared to my lovely flat

i think we were all a lot healthier when we were kids than they are today. anyone remember bazooka joes, no6 and no10 fags they were the cheap ones. 5 park drive ha ha they were the days (sigh!)

lived at gleadless valley 1961 - 1999 plowright way, remember a lot of the names mentioned above by others. dawn family, lathams, stan lake, mick drabble, chris jolly, siddals, parkin family, crockers, god what memories takes you back a bit. anyone remember the swing on the big tree across the stream on plowright drive, cut my head open a few times on that, and can anyone remember the little shop at the top of blackstock road run by Mr Smith before newfield green shops were built happy memories!
