  1. I have been to pretty much every play centre in Sheffield and I cant stand the play arena! Theres so many Health and Safety issues their.. its an accident waiting to happen. I saw the flooring being installed in the outdoor play area and their is hardly any depth to it at all its very thin yet the play equipment outside is pretty high (Im sure theres some legislation to say you have to have a certain depth if the equipment is so high). When they had the giant inflatable outside they just removed part of the safety fencing and shoved it up to the edge (any small child could have easily squeezed between the inflatable and the fence and end up in the busy car park. Lots of the equipment has broken and is not getting repaired or replaced (she shouldnt have chosen so many moving items if she couldnt afford to keep them maintained!) and the waffle type foam flooring inside is uneven, popping up and a tripping hazard, the magnetic lock on the exit door is often left unlocked...... do I need to go on! We once went to their advertised toddler session in a morning where you supposedly got a snack prepared by their chef, a drink and activities run by their experienced staff...what a joke that was, the children got a cup of water and a cadbury animal biscuit, the experienced staff stuck a cd on in a little room and left us to provide our own entertainment! As for their birthday parties, they kick the kids out as soon as they have finished eating! all playcentres let them go back in for a play after their food during a party but the play arena cant wait to get rid of you and get the next overpriced party in. Anyway thats my take on it! As mentioned above I really like runarounds near crystal peaks, they seem to have got it right..but i imagine it would be difficult to get to if you dont drive.
  2. There is a house (council owned) just become available on Constable Road S14 which would be a lot nearer for you, maybe worth asking the council about it? you could get the tram down to s12 then as the tram stop is literally at the end of the road. hope that helps! No 123 constable road!
  3. Hi, yes he did have white markings like u described. hes wearing a red harness. my brother has now taken him to sheffield council strays at westbar
  4. My brother has found a male brindle staffy walking the streets, he has a red collar on so must belong to someone. Rspca wont collect him neither will dog wardens or police so posting on here to see if anyone can help???????
  5. I have been told that my nail beds are flat! When I have had acrylic, silk etc applied the nails usually pop off after just a couple of days which looks a mess and the whole set end up coming off! Are their any nail technicians out their that think they can do me a full set of nails that will last??? Preferably around woodseats, norton or gleadless areas. Thanx
  6. If you could "like" someones post I would be hitting the like button on that response!! I just knew when I started reading a thread about formula milk that the breast is best brigade would show up

  8. Its open and brilliant! Just what Graves Park was lacking, shame about the lack of parking though!
  9. Wanting to know if homebargains on Parkway is open today, cant find a phone number for them!
  10. I went to Woodseats school many years ago and I chose to send my son there too. He is in Reception and Im very impressed with his progress, they have lots of events that involve parents and have an afterschool club on site which is handy. In my opinion its a great school :-)
  11. Got our straw hats from poundland crystal peaks 2 days ago :-)
  12. We used to eat regularly at Dilshad but the last couple of meals were poor as was the service. We tried Viraaj last month and it was gorgeous, the place has been done up really nice, the food was spot on and we even took a doggy bag home! We are going again tonight and hope it is consistently good as some places you can have a good meal one night and the next can be rubbish!
  13. I take mine to Sheffield Swim School at the pool on Hemsworth Road S8 (which is lovely and warm!) but they do classes at another pool aswell. He has come on brilliantly using noodles, floats and shark fins (not an armband in sight!) http://www.thesheffieldswimschool.co.uk/ Hope that helps :-)
