  1. hi, i think u wrote on my thread other day about my little cat being run over. so sorry, i know how your feeling, i really miss her
  2. i would like to think that was an isolated case. thats awful and as i put in my first thread, gina was a fast little cat and there would be no way id blame the driver, these things happen. i think i would still have to stop, despite this risk as i know how i feel thinking of her while drivers ran over the top of her. the owner of the cat your husband ran over is obviously one of the morons of this world and hopefully there arnt to many around, although im only 22, am i being nieve!! thaks again for the continued kind messages about our cat xxx
  3. ok thankyou, at leat the kind man brough her home and shes in garden now, i got to see her and get her tag and collor. horrible, totally unrelated but im due to give birth anyday, maybe the stress will start things off
  4. thanks everyone, ressisert, you have details of who did it? i was told you only have to report if a dog, is this not the case then? thanks again for all your messages
  5. hi, not a topic that affects many people but my 8 month old cat was run over on gleadless road early afternoon yeaterday and killed. she was called gina, was ginger black and white and had a bright pink collor and tag around her neck. a man who lives down the road was driving along gleadless road and recognised her, he said he litteraly had to stop traffic to get out of his van to get her. what a kind man, we are very grateful. i know running over cats doesnt have to be reported or anything but i think, to whoever did it, it would have been kind to at least get out of their car and take my number down just to let me know so i could then go and get her. she was only small and had only recently been let out after having injections, spaying and the vets etc. i know these things happen, especially with young scatty cats but its still heartbreaking and i certainly would have had the decency to stop my car if it was me as the driver wouldnt have been blamed. my 2 year old son doesnt understand and keeps asking where she is, dont get me wrong, i know these things happen but i wanted to say a thankyou to the kind man who scooped her up and brought her back so we could at least bury her
  6. this is the most ridiculas thread ive ever read. what sort of shallow moron started this. get it removed please..............NOT FUNNY

  12. hi, im only 22 so not worried about my own hildrens secondry school yet. but i remember being offered abbeydale, i lived on bannerdale road, ecclesall and wanted to attend silverdale. i remember my mum and dad verging on harassing silverdale to see if there was any left over places! from what i remember, this went on for a coupleof weeks and then they finally said i could attend silverdale, think they were sick of us.............so shout up and fight! unfortunatly its sometimes the only way to get anywhere! silverdale was good.......well i left with 9 a-c GCSE's anyway
  13. i grew up in ecclesall, i now live in gleadless valley, on a private estate called paxton court. its lovely, we moved here in november and people are incredably friendly. both me and my partner work and have 2 children. i think its how u are brought up that matters. u could put me in the bronx and id still work hard, have pride and self respect because thats how i was brought up. values need to be instilled in to children at a young age and even though im bringing my children up at gleadless does not mean thay will end up having babies at 14 and living off dole money, over my dead body.
  14. yeah me too, it wouldn't be the same without her!
