I've not heard. Definately helps catch crooks. But there again I think half of them knick cars and the like just to have the chopper follow them. To them it's worth a few months inside.

I'd have thought a van would be your best bet. you'd need to know the weight of car and trailer combined to make sure you have a vehicle with a sufficient towing capacity. And also if you passed your test post 1st jan 1997 the rules about the maximum weights you can tow are different so check those too.
