Along with frys peppermint which doh was in a green wrapper, fry's did a fruit covered chocolate bar too, you can still get the blue mint one, but to be honest I havent seen the other two, also can anyone remember MOJO's and bazooka joe bubbly gums, and the ones with a tattoo/transfer inside them the name escapes me......
  2. They were called "Liberty" as they were designed to replace the bnoned corsets used in the Victorian era and the smoother more softer fabric was seen to free the womanor child from the restrictive undergarments worn during the previous era.

  8. i do not remember watching much early saturday morning stuff,,, except for when Noel Edmonds had his all singing and dancing Swop Shop with Maggie Philbin, and Keith Chegwin, and John cant remember his name...
  9. I wasnt allowed to stay up and watch TV until early 70's being born in 1956, but I can recall black and white minstrels show and billy cottons band show, I do not remember watching any drama's. But I do remember the wooden tops and andy pandy. They dont make them in HD do they

  11. cheese cloth shirts,,, usually in a check design, tie dye t shirts, loon pants, or we used to insert a patterned piece of material in our jeans, by slitting the side of then to the knee and sewing in the material of our choice. Afghan coats, that whiffed terrible when they got wet!
  12. John Lamkin worked with my hubby Vic Hill, and in response yes the VA tower has now gone,, a landmark in wincobank no more, I heard there was a bit of a reunion to mark the VA being taken down....
