Seen it All

What I want to know is what are the Councillors doing while this outrage is happening? Technically they are the employers of all the Council staff. All the political parties in Sheffield claim to be in favour of equity. They frequently impose their views on equity on the citizens of Sheffield. Yet when these three senior managers are treated like bankers with huge pay-offs, the Councillors just stand by and watch. Talk about double standards!

Is anyone else bugged by the fact that the new Aldi store (in the old MFI building) does not provide baskets - only trollies? The store is about 50 yards away from the Forge student accommodation with lots of people shopping for just a few items. When I've been in the store I've seen lots of people struggling to carrying items in their arms rather than check out a trolly with a pound coin. Come on Aldi, make life a bit easier for your shoppers that are not buying the mothly shopping for the family.
