Well, I'm currently reading the first tome of Harry Potter's series because it's very easy to read it in English and I want to improve (as you noticed Patricia, I'm French). However I like reading detective stories as well as fantastic stories.

Yes it's a good idea, I often read this Web site and I find interesting articles in English. And have you got any more ideas to improve? Like watching american series, movies, listening to the radio...? And if you have examples of series or movies, don't be hesitant to give me some.

Thank you very much for your answers. I haven't tried 'gilbert jeune' yet but a friend of mine told me that it was a great, cheap books shop. I'll try it. Well, I'm reading now the first tome of Harry Potter, I've already read it in french but now I read it in English, and yeah it's very easy to understand and i make a lot of progress, my vocabulary is getting better.
